Sam Benjamin, a first-time author, came to us in need of an identity and marketing strategy for his book.
Problem: Help an unknown, first-time author – whose book is salacious and controversial – devise and deploy a marketing and PR strategy to gain the attention of a major publisher.
Solution: We created a brand image, book cover, website, social media presence and digitally-downloadable version of Sam’s book, then flogged it relentlessly in relevant media.
Result: Sam’s book sold to Simon & Schuster in late 2010 and will be published in summer of 2011. Additionally, Sam was offered – and is currently engaged in – co-authoring a book with a misbehaving celebrity.
